PIP4K2A and cancer: With implicated expression information in multiple types of cancers, up to 8% of patients exhibited up-regulated PIP4K2A in tumors compared with their matched normal tissues in all available cancer types except a few down-regulations (e.g., KIRC) (Supplementary Figure S2), suggesting the potential widespread oncogenic role of PIP4K2A in tumorigenesis apart from leukemia.
