Recently, it was demonstrated that the index of hyaluronic acid in patients can accurately predict the survival rate of liver diseases of varying severity [20]. Here, we attempted to elucidate the expression of stabilin-2 proteins, one of the hyaluronan receptors, in liver biopsy tissue of NASH patients, but we were unable to elucidate its relationship with NASH progression.
