Interestingly, several of the serum components that showed negative correlations with the expression of FcγRIIb are ligands for LSEC receptors: hyaluronan, which is the first molecule shown to be endocytosed via stabilin in LSECs, HDL-C, which binds to a receptor in LSEC, and IVCol, which probably binds to the Mannose receptor in LSEC [17, 38]. These serum components are well known to increase with the progression of NASH. Here, FCGR2B is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
