We found no strong evidence that enzyme-assessed triglycerides, LDLc or glucose concentrations at age 15 were associated with subsequent NAFLD at age 17; HDLc at 15 was inversely associated with NAFLD at 17 and insulin at 15 was positively associated with odds of USS steatosis and elevated ALT at 17 (Figure 8).
