Serum Gal-1 concentrations above 60.94 ng/ml (sensitivity = 80.0% and specificity = 73.3%) and serum Gal-3 concentrations below 16.82 ng/ml (sensitivity = 85.42% and specificity = 71.43%) successfully differentiated RA patients from controls.
