The expression of PCNA, VEGF, MMP‐2, and MMP‐9 in Diet I+NDEA and Diet II+NDEA groups was significantly lower than in the NDEA group (p < 0.01 or p < 0.05), indicating that Diet I and Diet II could inhibit cancer proliferation and affect tumor neovascularization, invasion, and metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and neoplasm.
