PPAR‐γ activation is also known to inhibit the proliferation of malignant cells, including liposarcoma, breast adenocarcinoma, prostate carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma, non‐small‐cell lung carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, bladder cancer, gastric carcinoma, and glial tumors of the brain (Chattopadhyay et al., 2000; Rubin, Zhao, Kalus, & Simpson, 2000). This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and liposarcoma.
