APOH and autoimmune polyendocrinopathy: Anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome (APS) is a systemic autoimmune disease.1 APS causes venous or arterial thrombosis and recurrent abortion.2 The laboratory findings in APS contains, persistently elevated levels of antibodies directed against membrane anionic phospholipids (anticardiolipin [aCL] antibody, anti-phosphatidylserine) or their associated plasma proteins, predominantly beta-2 glycoprotein I (apolipoprotein H); or evidence of a circulating anticoagulant.3
