Furthermore, an inverse association of cg25365794 (ALOXE3 gene) with prostate cancer was observed (HR (95% CI) per 1 SD increase: 0.78 (0.60, 1.03)), but only the comparison of the middle and the bottom tertile was statistically significant (HR (95% CI) 0.47 (0.24, 0.92)). Here, ALOXE3 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
