In our study, the JA content of P. indica-colonized plants increased significantly, but the expression of LOX did not significantly increase, which also shows that JA synthesis is affected by other factors besides LOX gene after the infection of bacterial diseases in Anthurium. The JA content in P. indica-colonized Anthurium leaves showed a single peak variation within 48 h, suggesting that JA is an early molecular signal for the interaction between Anthurium and its pathogenic bacteria. This evidence concerns the gene LOX and bacterial infectious disease.
