CASC2 and glioma: In a previous study, CASC2 was demonstrated to act as a ceRNA to regulate miR-21 in a colorectal cancer cell line [10] and in cervical cancer [11], to regulate miR-181a in nonsmall cell lung cancer [12], glioma [13] and osteosarcoma cells [14], to regulate miR-193 in glioma [15], and to regulate miR-367 in hepatocellular carcinoma cells [16].
