NF-κB effects on hyperglycaemia-triggered EMT of podocytes were investigated by subjecting podocytes to a 1 hour incubation period in high glucose conditions before treatment with AS-IV or ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate (PDTC, an inhibitor of NF-κB) for 48 hours. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and Hyperglycemia.
