We performed immunohistochemistry (IHC) to analyze the expression of GLS1 and GLS2 in tissue microarrays, which contained colorectal tissues (15 cases of normal colorectal tissue, 17 cases of inflammatory hyperplasia, 9 cases of colorectal adenoma, and 39 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma) spanning the stages of colorectal cancer transformation. Here, GLS2 is linked to colorectal adenocarcinoma.
