CCL7 and infection: Flow cytometry, 10 days post-infection, revealed that neutrophils were the only immune population to be significantly elevated in CCL7 KO mice at this time point (mean/SEM number/ear: WT 122.6 ± 44.11, CCL7 KO 501.6 ± 124.5, p ≤ 0.05) suggesting infiltration of neutrophils precedes the more general increase in immune recruitment at 2 weeks.
