At later timepoints after infection, the anti-leishmania T cell response in CCL7 KO C57BL/6 mice resembled that of their WT C57BL/6 counterparts with a predominance of IFNγ producers (Figure 3B) suggesting CCL7 is not required for the priming of a protective anti-leishmania Th1 response.
