These constructs were used to transduce the promyelocytic leukemia cell line PLB-985, which upon differentiation toward a neutrophil-like phenotype expresses all phagocyte NADPH oxidase subunits (including NOX2 and p22phox/CYBA) and produces reactive oxygen species (ROS) through this NADPH oxidase.
