Here, by using qRT‐PCR, Western blotting and immunofluorescence assays, we report that cells with high levels of RPS15A expressed low levels of E‐cadherin, and high levels of vimentin and slug, suggesting that RPS15A may be a potent inducer of EMT, which may result in more invasive and metastatic GC cells. The gene discussed is CDH1; the disease is gastric cancer.
