In the AMA1 vaccine group, for children who did not have clinical malaria episodes within the first 90 days (n = 66), AUCd90–240 correlated with increased IgG3 at the day 90 and day 240 time points, suggesting that IgG3 levels in the AMA1 vaccine group correlate with exposure to parasites. The gene discussed is IGHG3; the disease is malaria.
