Among the stage II CRC patients, the 3-year OS rate of both BRAF and KRAS mutation (+) patients was 0%, of BRAF mutation (−) and KRAS mutation (+) patients 96%, of BRAF mutation (+) and KRAS mutation (−) patients it was 100%, and of both BRAF mutation (−) and KRAS mutation (−) 100% (p < 0.01, number of patients: 0, 33, 7, and 11 respectively). The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
