We added a blocking anti-Ifnar1 monoclonal antibody (mAb) to OVX, hormone treated, WT, and Ifnlr1−/− mice6,34 as ZIKV fails to antagonize type I IFN signaling in murine cells35,36; indeed, in the absence of anti-Ifnar1 mAb treatment, little infection was observed at 7 dpi in WT or Ifnlr1−/− mice (Supplementary Figure 2a–g).
