We have now four monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) available acting on the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) pathway which can be used for migraine prevention: one targeting the CGRP receptor (erenumab) and three targeting the CGRP peptide (eptinezumab, fremanezumab, and galcanezumab) [15–17]. This evidence concerns the gene CALCA and migraine disorder.
