To date, CLL is still an incurable disease although novel therapies inhibiting kinases activated by BCR triggering (Bruton Tyrosine Kinase: BTK, Spleen Tyrosine Kinase: SYK, Phospho-Inositol-3-phosphate Kinase: PI3K) have significantly improved overall survival [2,3].
