PGR and breast carcinoma: Since in premenopausal breast cancer patients receiving adjuvant TAM therapy, high pre-treatment PgR levels were predictive of longer recurrence-free survival (Stendahl et al. 2006, Chapman et al. 2013), upregulation of PgR in the TAM + JEKHT group may be causally related to their increased TAM sensitivity and reduced risk of recurrence.
