First, a cohort of patients (n = 1926) with lung cancers encompassing all subtypes from an integrated database of ten published transcriptomic datasets [18] was subjected to an online Kaplan–Meier overall survival (OS) analysis (http://kmplot.com/analysis), which revealed a strong association (p = 2.6 × 10−6, log-rank test, n = 1926; Figure 2A, left) between low LDOC1 mRNA levels (≥median versus <median) and poor OS. This evidence concerns the gene LDOC1 and lung carcinoma.
