Applying this new model into clinical practice, we found that the mRNA expression of TBX21 and TGIF2 in breast cancer patients with high‐risk value was significantly lower than those with low‐risk value (P < 0.0001), but inversely for CYCS. The 5‐year OS rates were 79.1% (74.4%‐84.0%) for all patients, 84.5% (78.8%‐90.5%) in the low‐risk group (n = 598), and 73.1% (65.9%‐81.2%) in high‐risk group (n = 497), respectively (HR = 1.573 (1.090‐2.271), P = 0.016; Figure 2A).
