The orally available inhibitors (IDH1, ivosidenib; IDH2, enasidenib) have initially been tested in patients with relapsed/refractory patients with AML and demonstrated encouraging rates of complete remissions (CR, CR + CR incomplete: ivosidenib 30.4%; enasidenib 26.1%) [16,17].
