Several studies indicate the correlation of Filamin A with cancer stages and patient prognosis.29 Bedolla et al45 have shown by immunohistochemical examination in paraffin‐embedded human prostate tissues, that benign prostate, PIN, and localized PCa have predominantly nuclear Filamin A expression, whereas in metastatic PCa, Filamin A was found to be primarily in the cytoplasm. Here, FLNA is linked to prostate intraepithelial neoplasia.
