CHMP2B and melanoma: Figure 3 shows the distribution plot of the pixels of any given density; the right-end site indicates distribution of darker pixels, i.e., higher expression. Darker pixels are more frequent in melanoma as compared to normal tissues for BAG1, PEX3, and WIPI1, while CHMP2B expression is unchanged. The median pixel-darkness, reported in each panel, indicates the shift toward higher expression of BAG1, PEX3, and WIPI1 in melanoma vs healthy skin. Noteworthy, WIPI1 increases in melanoma at both gene (Figure 2) and protein expression levels (Figure 3).
