In Wang et al.’s study, the phosphorylation peak of AKT in the C4-2B prostate cancer cells occurred at 45 min when stimulated by CXCL16, and the phosphorylation of AKT was reduced at 10 min with decreased CXCR6 expression (Wang et al. 2008). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL16 and prostate cancer.
