To confirm these findings in patients with PLA2R1-associated MN, we performed the analyses in a selection of PLA2R1-ab positive sera at baseline: a) three patients, in whom PLA2R1-ab had disappeared during follow-up, b) three patients with PLA2R1-associated MN and malignancy, and c) four patients with persistence of PLA2R1-ab, in whom we compared sera at baseline and during follow-up. The gene discussed is PLA2R1; the disease is cancer.
