A family-based genome-wide association study reported that the holocarboxylase synthetase (HLCS), major histocompatibility complex, class II, DR α (HLA-DRA), BICD cargo adaptor 2 (BICD2), V-set immunoregulatory receptor (VSIR), and solute carrier family 5 member 1 (SLC5A1) genes may be linked to the pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps [9]. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-DRA and chronic rhinosinusitis.
