HF-feeding also led to increased permeability to 99mTc-albumin in the retina at 16 weeks (18.20 ± 7.654 μL/g in LF vs. 38.46 ± 20.53 μL/g in HF; p < 0.05) and 36 weeks (19.27 ± 7.943 μL/g in LF vs. 36.40 ± 11.65 μL/g in HF; p < 0.05, Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and hydrops fetalis.
