The expressions of PPAR-γ, CPT, and MCAD in the HFDE group were significantly increased, suggesting that swimming training can partially activate the PPAR-γ expression in the liver tissue, concomitantly increase CPT-1 and MCAD levels, and finally alleviate the liver lipid disorders of IR and NAFLD. The gene discussed is PPARG; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
