Notably, we found that despite the high expression of PD-1 in CHOL, there existed a poor relationship between PD-1 and T cell in this type of cancer, which leads to the hypothesis that patients with CHOL might not benefit from PD-1 blockade, because the tumor specific T cells can hardly be released from the ‘brake’ of PD-1.
