When the HLA‐DQB2 rs7453920 GG homozygote genotype was applied as the reference group, the GA genotype was significantly associated with an increased risk of TB more than tobacco (GA vs. GG: adjusted OR = 2.385, 95% CI = 1.439–3.954, p = 0.001). Here, HLA-DQB2 is linked to tuberculosis.
