TRAIP and isolated growth hormone deficiency type IA: Both DPC ubiquitylation and proteolysis were largely restored by recombinant wild-type (WT) TRAIP (Figures 7B and 7C, lanes 13–18), but not a TRAIP mutant harboring an amino acid substitution in the RING domain (R18C) (Figures 7B and 7C, lanes 19–24) that causes primordial dwarfism (Harley et al., 2016).
