KAI1/CD82 is thought to be a suppressor gene of tumor metastasis, which can inhibit tumor metastasis by mediating signal transduction between cells and between cells and ECM.[24] Findings in this study also showed that KAI1/CD82 expression was significantly lower in NSCLC tissues than that in control tissues, and its expression was negatively correlated with tumor grade, LNM, DM, and TNM stage. Here, CD82 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
