STAT3 and cancer: One of the mechanisms of chemoresistance in cancers is the activation of signaling molecules, including MYC and AKT1,38 and the ability of some chemotherapeutic agents to restore the sensitivity of drug‐resistant cancer cells may be related to their modulatory effect on certain signaling pathways, such as STAT3.39 Therefore, we hypothesized that the mechanism by which oxaliplatin regulates MDSC‐mediated immunosuppression may involve the modulation of key signaling pathways in MDSCs.
