In addition, long term responses to anti-PD1 immunotherapy was recently described in four patients with small cell carcinoma of the ovary, a highly aggressive monogenic cancer driven by SMARCA4 mutations [28]; this was unexpected for a low mutation burden cancer, but the majority of the tumors demonstrated PD-L1 expression with strong associated T-cell infiltration [28]. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is ovarian small cell carcinoma.
