As shown in Figure 8A, HSF1 and NRF2 inhibitors led to a further increase of ROS level in comparison with TB or BZ single treatments, and similarly, SQSTM1 RNA knocking-down also exerted this effect (Figure 8B), likely due to the positive feedback loop between p62 and NRF2 [28,29].
