KRAS and colorectal carcinoma: To determine the efficacy of pulsatile, high-dose sunitinib in patients with metastatic CRC, we will start shortly a prospective, randomized, open-label, phase II/III clinical trial to compare 700 mg sunitinib once every 2 weeks with standard treatment with Trifluridine plus tipiracil (TAS-102) in patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the colon or rectum who are refractory or intolerant to therapy with fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan anti-VEGF therapy (and anti–epidermal growth factor receptor therapy in KRAS wild type).
