Finally, our finding that the simultaneous inhibition of IL‐6 and WNT5A signalling by the combination of an IL‐6 antibody and the WNT5A antagonistic peptide Box5 efficiently impairs the invasive migration of BRAFi‐R melanoma cells by impairing their elevated Cdc42‐GTPase activity, forms the basis for a possible novel antimetastatic therapeutic option for BRAFi‐R melanoma patients.
