In 2018, Zhou et al. genotyped 2 tagSNPs in MEG3 in 392 neuroblastoma children and 783 controls and found that subjects carrying rs4081134 AG/AA genotypes tended to develop neuroblastoma among subgroups with age > 18 month and clinical stage III + IV disease, with an adjusted OR of 1.36 and 1.47, respectively [34]. This evidence concerns the gene MEG3 and neuroblastoma.
