Since SATB1 has been implicated in drug resistance in many cancers [PMID: 22807980 (29), PMID: 24696710 (30), PMID: 19860849 (31)], we are interested in learning how SATB1 is regulated at the expression (miRNA) and post-translational modification (phosphorylation) levels and also about any anomalies of SATB1 (either expression or mutation) that have some impact on drug response to cancer. The gene discussed is SATB1; the disease is cancer.
