Many studies indicated that the primary cilia played an important role in embryonic development, cell differentiation, cell division, and tumor progression through Hedgehog (Hh) signaling.20, 21, 22 As we described above, loss of primary cilia is a common feature of malignant cells, whereas our results showed that the expression of DNAH17 was up‐regulated in HCC tissues by hypomethylation. This evidence concerns the gene DNAH17 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
