CD8A and neoplasm: Patients were stratified from I0 to I4 according to the “immunoscore” (“I”), based on the total number of observed high densities (CD3+ cells and CD8+ cells in the tumor regions).11 For example, I0 refers to a tumor with low densities of CD3+ and CD8+ in the core of the tumor (CT) and the IM regions of the tumor (4‐Hi); I4 refers to tumors with high densities of CD3+ and CD8+ cells in both tumor regions.
