Cortactin is upregulated in several cancers to trigger cell migration and invasiveness [11], and both cortactin and HS1 are related to poor prognosis in adult B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) [12–15], and linked to high levels of the known risk factors ZAP70 and CD38 [16].
