AGA and autoimmune thyroid disease: In DQ2-8 positive subjects, we found a higher AGA positivity (15.6% versus 0%, p = 0.17) when compared with DQ2-8 negative patients, as well as higher rates of ANA positivity (28.9% versus 11.1%, p = 0.19) and autoimmune thyroiditis (28.9% versus 11.1%, p = 0.19), despite that in all cases proportions did not reach significance (see Figure 4).
