Interestingly, overexpression of FGFR3 and IGF1R in breast cancer (more specifically in MCF-7 for FGFR3) has been observed in previous studies (Farabaugh et al., 2015; Fillmore et al., 2010), each related to breast cancer expansion through stem cells.
