Cyclin G1 (CCNG1) is a Cyclin G family protein that both positively and negatively regulates cell growth.14 Although the precise function of CCNG1 remains unclear, accumulating evidence has shown that CCNG1 is abnormally expressed in many types of malignant cancers, such as EOC, hepatocellular carcinoma, and lung carcinoma.15, 16 Some studies have found that CCNG1 can act as a transcriptional target of P53, suggesting that CCNG1 may serve a significant role in the poor prognosis of HGSOC.16, 18, 19. This evidence concerns the gene CCNG1 and lung carcinoma.
