By contrast, Kim et al previously reported that overexpression of FAM3B leads to the inhibition of tumour growth and reduction of the single‐cell colony‐forming activity and tumorigenicity of gastric cancer cells.23 Shiiba et al18 recently reported that FAM3B expression in oral squamous cell carcinoma is significantly down‐regulated compared with normal oral tissues. The gene discussed is FAM3B; the disease is gastric cancer.
