CNR1 and Cognitive impairment: Previous studies showed that CB1r agonists, such as ACPA, induce cognitive impairments in rodents (Kruk-Slomka and Biala, 2016[36]; Kruk-Slomka et al., 2016[37]; Pamplona and Takahashi, 2006[58]), But CB1r antagonists, such as AM251, often enhance the performance of rodents in different memory tasks (Kruk-Slomka and Biala, 2016[36]; Lichtman, 2000[41]; Takahashi et al., 2005[76]).
